Red and Black Butterflies trench

A one of a kind, vintage, Japanese kimono silk trench coat. The fabric has a subtle woven design with tiny diagonal triangles that gives it a textured look. The fabric is printed with an abstracted butterfly design in a red/orange and black. There are angled pockets on the front. Fully lined with silk charmeuse. 4 vintage glass buttons line the front.
Garment measures 47 inches bust, 50 inches hips, length at center back 31 inches. Size medium. [Approximate industry size 14 - 16.]

All pieces are hand made one at a time in my Portland, Oregon studio. Fabrics are vintage Japanese silks. The very special fabric used in this trench coat was woven by Japanese artisans and sewn into a kimono. I removed the hand stitching, washed and prepared the fabric and sewed it into my trench coat design.

Each piece I make is unique, most are one of a kind. I ship USPS priority at the beginning of the week.
