Purple Peony Garden Oversize Coat

Sewn from beautiful vintage silk kimono. An exuberant design of a peony garden in purples and some pink. The bottom edge shows a black silhouette of leaves and flowers. This is a full, roomy jacket, I call it 'oversize.' There are angled pockets at the sides. Fully lined with silk charmeuse. Four glass buttons line the front. One size fits most.

Garment measures 56 inches bust, 58 inches hips, length at center back 33 1/2 inches. Oversize, one size fits most.

All pieces are hand made one at a time in my Portland, Oregon studio. Fabrics are vintage Japanese silks. The very special fabric used in this coat was woven and painted by Japanese artisans and finally sewn into a kimono. I removed the hand stitching, washed and prepared the fabric and sewed it into my oversize coat design.

Each piece I make is unique, most are one of a kind. I ship USPS priority at the beginning of the week.
