Deep Aubergine Quilted Long Trench

A one of a kind, vintage, Japanese kimono silk trench coat. This gorgeous deep, deep purple, woven fabric has a random zig zag design. The label on the fabric says, 'dyed with plants.' About 5 inches longer than my other trench coats, the bottom 10 inches is quilted with stitching lines that follow the zig zag design. There are angled pockets on the front. It can be worn with or without its matching belt. Fully lined with a dark blue silk charmeuse. 5 vintage metal buttons line the front.
Garment measures 42 inches bust, 44 inches hips, length at center back 36 inches. Size small. [Approximate industry size 12.]

All pieces are hand made one at a time in my Portland, Oregon studio. Fabrics are vintage Japanese silks. The very special fabric used in this trench coat was woven by Japanese artisans. It was still in the bolt and had never been used.
Each piece I make is unique, most are one of a kind. I ship USPS priority at the beginning of the week.
